Record high prices and winter storms have impacted the precious metals supply chain.

Globally, precious metal refiners have been operating at maximum capacity for the last several months. Despite this, a backlog of material waiting to be processed into market ready bullion has built up causing extended settlement times for everyone. This situation was made worse by storms in January that temporarily shutdown some refiners as well as FedEx’s hub in Memphis, TN.

To our business customers: Unfortunately, we have been forced to extend our settlement times on all metals. We contiue to be limited in the amount of silver we can accept. Please call us before sending in more than 10 Troy ounces of silver.

Members of the public: Until further notice, we are unable to accept silver-based materials as we do not have any spare capacity.
